Daryl's and Anita's Health
Dear Friends,

Praise the Lord with us! Two years ago November 4, I was just out of the hospital and having my first of three weekly dialysis treatments at the Northwest Kidney Center. I was also undergoing intense chemotherapy for multiple myeloma, a bone marrow cancer. With all the people praying for us, God cleared up my kidneys and put the cancer into remission.

Then in February 2023, just as I was going in for a bone marrow transplant, Anita was diagnosed with breast cancer. She began chemotherapy while I spent two months in Seattle at Fred Hutch Cancer Center for the bone marrow transplant. After Anita’s initial 5 months of chemotherapy, she had two surgeries. Anita finished radiation treatments and many months of chemotherapy. Now in late 2024 both of us are on an oral chemotherapy, and able to travel to Mexico between treatments and other appointments.

God has sustained us with encouragement from his people. He is healing and restoring us, even as we continue treatment. And cancer doesn’t cancel the calling God has on our lives; it only sharpens our focus on living for Him!

Thank you for praying,
Daryl and Anita
